Is Project Paddington a religious project?

Although Project Paddington was started by a trainee vicar, even in the core team there are Muslims, agnostics, atheists and Christians. Project Paddington is about coming together to meet a need and showing love and welcome for refugees. It is open to people of all religions and none.

Where are the teddies going?

Teddies are going to refugee children in camps in Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon as well a small number to UK projects working with refugees.

What is the money raised being used for?

The money that we are raising is going towards the cost of transporting the teddies and direct aid for refugee children and their families. Project Paddington is entirely run by volunteers. Our admin costs are kept extremely low by managing all our communications online.

Project Paddington HQ is in Sheffield, if you are Sheffield based and have skills in admin, systems, charity sector, logistics, social media, we would love to hear from you at, please outline when you are available and the skills that you will bring and we will be in touch.
